Mail white small

There are so many different species of birds in the woods, the birdsong in the morning is incredible!

Most days you will see Robins, Crows, Magpies, Jays, Woodpeckers, all kinds of Tits, Finches, Thrushes, Sparrows, Wood Pigeons, Doves, Blackbirds, Starlings and on some lucky occasions a Sparrow Hawk.

I often hear owls in the evening calling to each other although I have yet to actually see one. The photo of the crow is where it used to call out from a tree in the garden, wait for me to put an egg down then it would swoop down to break and eat it. It did this almost every day and sometimes the magpies would try to join in too!
